I installed and kicked the tires of WordPress for a while. Very functional. Lots of tools, and too use that overused description, it was powerful. I tried editing the themes. After a few hours had something that reasonably looked like the rest of my site. But not quite.

I was a bit skeptical about installing through a site building tool. It doesn't allow you the control and breadth of tools that tinkering under the hood does. But that's probably a good thing. Sometimes being a techie I get lost in the details and forget it's supposed to be a means to an end. This method seems to work fine. It maintains the look an feel of my site and gives me enough tools to do what I need to do. Which isn't much because I don't have a lot of time to blog. This post is just basically testing functionality. Maybe I will post some more. It's dead simple, and I don't have to care or worry about mundane details.   ]]>
